"This was something I started for fun, but ended up hating myself when I was about half way through. I did it as a challenge to write a feature film script in 24 hours. Writing has always been romanticized - you sit behind a table in a lovely summer homer with no electronics, waiting for the inspiration. Write, then go for a walk to gather thoughts, have a coffee and maybe write again, maybe go fishing. What it is in reality, is work like any other. You have to work every day, even if half of what you put down is trash, you’re still making progress towards finishing the script. I don’t know, maybe it’s my dumb brain that thinks that."
